Introducing Our Athlete Spotlight: Celebrating Excellence on the U.S Martial Arts Team

Updated: Feb 26

Team Georgia is honored to embody the tradition of dedication, skill, and perseverance in the martial arts community. Today, we’re thrilled to kick off our Athlete Spotlight series, where we celebrate the individuals who embody the spirit of martial arts! Within each spotlight post, we’ll get to know a young athlete by exploring their journey in martial arts, their favorite hobbies, and their aspirations for the future. From what excites them most about training to their advice for new team members, these stories highlight the passion, personality, and determination of our U.S. Martial Arts Team’s rising stars.

This week, we shine the spotlight on Jason Vo-Kojima , a standout member of the U.S. Martial Arts Team whose achievements and journey exemplify what it means to be a true martial artist. From balancing school with training to representing the U.S. Martial Arts Team with pride, this athlete is a true inspiration.

To help you get to know Jason, we asked him a few questions to give you a glimpse into his world—both inside and outside the dojo! Here's what Jason had to say:
